PEC Delegation Visits CUI Lahore: A Focus on Engineering Departments and Library Resources

A delegation from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) visited COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, as part of their accreditation and evaluation process for the Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering departments on July 11,2025. As part of their agenda, the delegation also visited the CUI Lahore Central Library along with senior faculty Members of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Dr. Muhammad Tariq Library In-charge welcomed the delegation and gave a detailed briefing on the library's resources and services, including digital databases, printed collections, reference services, and research support facilities. The team visited various sections of the library, such as the circulation desk, digital library, reference section, and study areas. The PEC representatives appreciated the organized layout and the wide array of academic and research support available to students and faculty through the library. This visit underscores CUI Lahore’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement in engineering education.
