2-Day Training on KOHA

Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, organized a two-day training workshop on KOHA, Integrated Library Management System, on August 27 and 28, 2026, at the Pharmacy Computer Lab. The training was organized in line with the vision of the Worthy Rector to strengthen human resources and enhance the professional capacity of university employees. All professional library staff participated in the training and also served as trainers. The sessions covered key KOHA modules, including, Cataloguing, Circulation, Serials Management, Acquisition, Reporting, Data Migration, System Customization and Other essential KOHA functions At the closing ceremony, Dr. Muhammad Tariq appreciated the efforts of the trainers and thanked Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yar, Director, CUI Lahore, for his continued support and approval of the training. He also appreciated the active participation of all library professionals and thanked Dr. Muhammad Ishtiaq for his support and assistance in making the necessary arrangements. Certificates were distributed among all participants at the conclusion of the training.
